Since Halloween lands on a Monday this year, most costume parties and other events will happen the night of the 28th, or on the 29th. Since this event starts Thursday night, it might be the ideal way to get into the spooky spirit a little earlier than usual. Come for music, snacks, and of course, a costume contest. Holo Holo Halloween

While far from being the only event for children in the area, this one might be the one to try. Aimed at kids up to the age of thirteen, expect plenty of costumes and candy. A costume contest requires pre-registration, available here.
